Submissions Policy
Last updated: 16 June 2026· Governing law: England & Wales
How the submissions system works, what we store, and how we moderate it. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service and should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. How it works
Submissions are shown publicly without your username or profile being displayed to other users. Every submission is reviewed by our team before it can appear, and an approved submission is shown on the public wall only after it has been read out during a stream segment, so the wall keeps pace with the show.
2. Not professional advice, and sensitive content
The submissions board and stream segment are entertainment. Anything you share, and any responses, opinions, or advice given by the streamer, guests, or community, are personal views and general information only. They may include advice, but they are not professional advice: we are not doctors, lawyers, accountants, financial advisers, or mental health professionals. You act on anything said or read at your own risk, and to the fullest extent permitted by law Vardoxen accepts no liability for any decision you make based on it. Please keep submissions light and do not post graphic, traumatic, self-harm, abuse, or crisis content. If you need help with a serious matter, contact a qualified professional or an appropriate support line or emergency service.
3. Anonymity - please read before submitting
Submissions are displayed anonymously, but your submission is not anonymous to us. To prevent abuse and keep the community safe, when you submit we store, privately and securely, a limited amount of information linked to your submission - including a reference to your Discord account, a one-way (hashed) version of your IP address, and the date and time. We use this information only for rate-limiting, preventing and investigating abuse, moderation, blocking users who break the rules, and keeping audit logs. Our moderators and administrators can access this information. We keep it only as long as necessary and then delete it. By submitting, you confirm you are at least 13 years old and that your submission does not contain illegal content or break our Community Guidelines.
4. What we store
- The submission text and category.
- A reference to your Discord account (internal only).
- A one-way hashed IP address and a timestamp (internal only, for abuse prevention).
- Moderation status and audit history, including who reviewed it (internal only).
How long each of these is kept is set out in the retention section of our Privacy Policy.
5. Moderation
Submissions are reviewed off-stream. Only approved submissions are shown publicly or in stream mode, and only after being read on stream. We may deny, archive, edit for display, or remove submissions, and block submitters who break the rules. We do not guarantee that any submission will be approved, read out, or kept.
6. Reactions
Once a submission has been read on stream, signed-in members can react to it, and reactions are visible to others. Please keep reactions within our Community Guidelines; we may remove reactions or restrict the feature for misuse.
7. Reporting and your rights
You can report a submission for review. You may also ask to access or delete submissions linked to your account, subject to our moderation and audit obligations, by contacting legal@vardoxen.tv. For full detail on your data protection rights, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date above shows the latest version.
