Discord Bot Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 June 2026· Governing law: England & Wales
These terms form a binding agreement governing use of the Vardoxen Discord bot within Discord servers.
1. The service
The Vardoxen Discord bot (the “Bot”) provides moderation, logging, automation, role management, giveaways, birthdays, introductions, social and live-stream alerts, a Wall of Support, and related community features inside Discord servers where it is installed. It is operated from the United Kingdom. Contact: legal@vardoxen.tv. By adding the Bot to a server or using its features, you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility and Discord terms
You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age to use Discord in your country), to use the Bot. The Bot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the Bot to break the law, abuse or harass others, share illegal or harmful content, evade moderation, or disrupt, overload, or attack the service. Server administrators are responsible for how the Bot is configured and used in their server, including ensuring that its use complies with Discord's terms and applicable law.
4. Moderation and server administration
The Bot acts on behalf of the server and its administrators. Moderation actions, logs, role management, and configuration are controlled by server staff, and we are not responsible for how individual servers choose to use it. We may suspend, restrict, or remove the Bot from servers that misuse it or breach these terms.
5. Giveaways
Giveaways run through the Bot are operated by the server, not by Discord, Vardoxen, or any other platform, and are void where prohibited. Entries gained by breaking the rules or using alternate accounts may be removed, and winners are chosen at random.
6. Availability and changes
The Bot is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation and may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Social and live-stream alerts depend on third-party platforms and may be delayed or unavailable.
7. Data
The Bot processes Discord data as described in the Discord Bot Privacy Policy. Server administrators are responsible for informing their members about the Bot's use where required.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England & Wales, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, the Bot is provided without warranties of any kind, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from its use, including any action taken by server staff through it.
9. Changes to these terms and governing law
We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
